According to the sources and different reports, William of Orange (a male racing pigeon), travelled approximately 250miles to deliver a message in England from “Arnhem Airborne Operation” when there were no source of communications available and they were under attack by the German Armed Forces. This act of braveness of the pigeon saved nearly 2000 lives and the 21st Dicken medal was awarded to William of Orange for its bravery and efforts to save thousands of lives.
